Escape to the Country - East Sussex

It's a dog's life in East Sussex as Alistair Appleton helps a retired couple from the Surrey town of Epsom and their five sausage dogs find a home with space for larger rescue animals. Among the property contenders is a remarkable 400-year-old farmhouse bursting with original features and countryside character. Alistair's journey also takes him to meet a young edible flower farmer whose vibrant crops are as good for wildlife as they are for the plate.
